Schubert also created performance art on the streets of Dubrovnik as well as immersive installations. Her later works, mainly self-portraits, offer profound meditations on memory, identity, and mortality. In her studio at the Institute for Anatomy in Zagreb, she once likened her art to the practice of dissection – a precise and purposeful science that uncovers the hidden realms of the human body.
