PRIX PICTET 2023
The Prix Pictet, one of the most prestigious photography prizes in the world, is once again this year highlighting exceptional photography that addresses the most pressing global challenges of our time. The jurors have made it their mission to promote photographers who want to make a difference with their images. With each image and story presented this year under the title "Human," we are challenged to look at our world and its inhabitants from new angles and reflect on the pressing issues of the present. The Prix Pictet award ceremony, which is not open to the public, is a highlight of the year in the world of photography. This year, photographer Cauri Gill was named the winner of the prize. However, there will also be an opportunity for all others interested in photography to appreciate the best photographers and their works, which not only touch the eyes, but also the heart and mind. In the course of the People's Choice Awards, all visitors to the exhibition are invited to vote for their personal favorite photos.
For this purpose we recommend the exhibition with numerous photos of the nominees at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London:
September 29 – October 23, 2023
Victoria & Albert Museum
Cromwell Road
London, SW 7 2 RL
The Prix Pictet was launched in 2008 and has since established itself as a platform for photographers dealing with environmental and sustainability issues. This unique competition and its accompanying exhibitions in renowned museums worldwide aim to illustrate the complex challenges of our time from the special perspective of the photographic camera. We are very pleased to be able to present all the nominated works this year with our accompanying catalog.
