EBOOK FORMATS

EPUBs are optimized for reading on mobile devices and e-readers.

Most e-readers support EPUB files, including devices from Tolino, Kobo, and Sony. However, Amazon Kindle readers do not support EPUB files, as Amazon uses its own proprietary e-book formats

To open an EPUB file on a PC, you will need dedicated e-reader software. Popular free options include Calibre and Adobe Digital Editions, both available for Windows and macOS. Mac users can also use Apple Books, which is usually pre-installed.

PDF e-books are compatible with computers and mobile devices, offering an easy way to cite content thanks to pagination that matches the print edition exactly.

PDF e-books are generated from the print-ready PDF file of a book and are bookmarked for convenient navigation, allowing direct access to individual chapters. To open PDF files, you will need a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free and widely available.
