Robert Longo

Robert Longo is one of the most important artists of American postmodernism. In the 1980s, he became a central protagonist of the "Pictures Generation," one of the most influential American art movements to this day. With his labor-intensive, large-format charcoal drawings, he attempts to slow down the consumption of images that stream towards us daily on screens.
